City Skyline At Night

The Low Budget Late Show

LOG LINE

A satirical, culture-driven late-night series where real journalists, comedians, and creators collide inside a deliberately chaotic newsroom to break down Black culture, current events, fashion, sports, and internet moments through parody, dry humor, and fourth-wall-breaking commentary with each segment designed to spin off into its own standalone series.

SYNOPSIS

The Low Budget Late Show is a 90-minute, culture-forward late-night series that blends viral podcast interviews, live musical performances, and satirical news commentary into one dynamic variety experience. Created by Post Media Group and powered and distributed by Rolling Out, the show is anchored by Kodaq Longwood’s signature vertical podcast  interview style unfiltered, provocative, and designed to generate real-time cultural conversation while expanding into a fully produced late-night format.

The series features desk commentary, correspondent segments, fashion and sports coverage, and SNL-style performances, all delivered with dry, fourth-wall-breaking humor inspired by classic BET, MTV, and Comedy Central programming. Directed by Todd Uno, the show balances editorial credibility with internet-native energy, creating both appointment television and high-impact, shareable moments. The Low Budget Late Show serves as a cultural incubator, with each segment designed to stand alone, spin off into its own series, and extend the reach of Black-led media across platforms.
